Veterans Tax Exempt Activities Funded by Welfare Fund
- Promote the general welfare of the community
- Assist disabled and needy war veterans, members of the United States
Armed Forces and their dependents, and the widows and orphans of deceased
veterans.
- Provide entertainment, care, and assistance to hospitalized veterans
or members of the United States Armed Forces.
- Carry on programs to perpetuate the memory of deceased veterans and
members of the United States Armed Forces and to comfort their survivors.
- Conduct programs for religious, charitable, scientific, literary, or educational purposes.
Veterans Tax Exempt Activities Funded by General Fund
- Sponsor or participate in activities of a patriotic nature.
- Provide social and recreational activities for members.
Eugene T. Roark Memorial JROTC Scholarship Program
- Provide financial support for JROTC High School Seniors to attend college
- Encourage young men and women to continue their education
